What's On!

We always have a wide variety of things to keep the whole family amused - and if you want to see pictures of previous years then you can see these in the Reach Fair Gallery.

Below shows just some of the stallholders and entertainers who will be at Reach Fair 2025.

THE TRADITIONAL OPENING

.

Reach Fair used to take place on Rogation Monday up until 1979 when, upon application to the Home Office, it was moved to the first Bank Holiday in May.

It is a Charter Fair, granted by King John on 8th January 1201 to the Burgesses of Cambridge and the Mayor and Councillors attend, wearing their robes/gowns of office, to proclaim it at midday.

They throw penny coins into the crowd - make sure you get here for this memorable opening by the mayor.

THE FAIRGROUND

The big wheel is always a huge attraction but there are many other fairground rides and games, suitable for all ages and this year we will again have Dodgems!

Robert and his Fairground have been coming to Reach Fair now for over 30 years and he knows how to keep us entertained and is looking forward to coming again
